Pool & Spa Construction Process

Phase 1: Consultation & Design

  • This is the first step of the pool construction process. Our team will meet with you to assist bringing your ‘big design ideas’ within reach! We can help scale the shape and size of your pool to fit the specific layout of your home and/or backyard.

    Permits & Plans
Once you have finalized your design, we move into the next step of the process. Don’t worry, we handle this for you! We will file all the necessary permits and plans with your local city or county.

    Phase 2: Building

    Excavation, Wall Assembly and Backfill
We excavate the pool following the dig specifications. Then we frame the perimeter of the pool with rebar steel reinforcement to spray in the concrete, forming the pool and deck.

    Gunite (dry) or Shotcrete (wet)

Gunite is a ‘dry’ technique for concrete application, Shotcrete is a ‘wet’ application technique.
Both processes apply placement and compaction at the same time. Either process can be impacted onto a wide-range of surface shapes and types.
Poured concrete can get pricey, we recommend either gunite or shotcrete in these circumstances.

    Plumbing & Lighting
Installation of plumbing and necessary equipment. Lighting is added to enhance both the function of night-time swimming and the overall beauty of your pool

    Phase 3: Beautifying

    Plaster & Pebbles
We provide plenty of options for the finishing touches to your pool. All of our plaster and pebble finishes offer long-lasting reliability and eye-catching elegance.

    Tile & Coping
Pool coping covers the top of the pool structure and lies above the tile line. We offer several options for poured concrete, tiles and travertine.

    Pavers & Travertine
Travertine pavers can enhance the beauty of the overall layout of your pool and spa. Travertine tiles can transform your old pool deck into an ‘at-home resort getaway!’
